We got up sooo early to get the coach from Bournemouth to London Victoria which is like...2h30 so it's not so bad. we didn't dress up which was probably a good thing in the end as it was boiling weather. When we got to Victoria, we met with Rob and jumped in a Taxi to earls court, grabbed our tickets and when inside. We then met with Lewis and queued up to book our photoshoot. I was originally getting a photo with Gendry but changed my mind last minute to Tyrion. He was double the price, however, he is my favourite character so I thought it made more sense. After 45mins standing in a crowd of people we then wondered around to find the signings. We only got a small glimpse of Jason Mamoa, Lena Headey and Amanda Tapping as they were completely surrounded. We also saw Danny Glover, but unfortunately, they were very strict about taking photos (like they would be amazingly good quality).
Here's some:
(Just like to point out that this is not my hand - Its Carls)
We also got to meet Gendry though which was awesome. The boys high-fived him and I got a hug which was lovely of him as he was on his way somewhere so didn't have to see anyone. I was gutted that I didn't get a picture but maybe that would have been a bit cheeky seeing as others were paying to see him.
I'm not gonna lie. He hated me. I thought he would kill me. It's those arm things he's got going on he ran around like a giant spider and, because they were obviously stilts, they were heavy so they clunked so that was worse. I have a phobia of people in scary costumes ever since the horror mazes in Thorpe Park. I just can't deal with it. I was like so up for it until he just stared at me. It was like a creepy love story. I was so excited when I saw him because he looked fantastic, then he looked at me from across the room, and scuttled his way over, and I was like 'right its not scary, just a guy on stilts' so I was like walking to get a picture and ...I freaked. I just freaked. and because of this, he picked on me, as you can see form him burning a massive whole in the side of my head.
After Lewis got back from having his photo with Norman Reedus (Daryl - Walking Dead) We went to have our photos on the Iron throne. I don't have the other guys photo's yet and Niki messed with her's so I don't want to put it up. lol.
Carl tried to do the Sean Bean pose.
I just didn't bother.
And finally. The best bit. Our photoshoot with Peter Dinklage. He was amazing. We were number 707 and beyond and were in the queue for a while but it was totally worth it. While we were waiting the staff were saying that we couldnt hug, shake hands or anything like that because it needed to be speeded up, so with that we thought he was getting tired and was maybe not going to be massively enthusiastic. But it's not till you go in and see him that you realise how amazing he is. He was choosing different poses for each person, hitting them in the balls, hugging, kissy facing, it was all personalised.
We did ours together so we could do 2.
Yes. I pulled his hair.... But he seemed alright with it.....? Well, it's done now. And they print them off straight away now which is excellent.
An amazing end to a shitty week! ^_^ eeeeeee!
